Known as the Chevrolet SS NASCAR, the rear-wheel
drive performance racecar will be Chevrolet’s newest entry in the NASCAR Sprint
Cup Series, beginning with the 2013 SpeedWeek in Daytona.
In the NASCAR Chevrolet SS, the exterior is
approached in a similar fashion. Here the elements that will adorn the upcoming
SS performance sedan are painted in the race car. It gives us a good idea and a
rendering of what to expect, such as the aggressive front bumper and the large
headlamps. With these design elements in mind, using our imagination, we
believe that the upcoming SS will look aggressive and sporty – pretty much like
the Holden Commodore it is based on.
The determining factor of any NASCAR is its power.
The Chevrolet SS NASCAR doesn’t disappoint in that aspect, thanks to the
small-block Chevrolet V-8. Chevrolet promises similar performance figures in a
restrained, road-going package — A.K.A. the Chevrolet SS.
