The Hyundai Grand i10X was introduced in Indonesia
in mid-2015, a year after the Hyundai Grand i10. In the company of the standard
variant, it received a facelift on 14 July.
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10X, manufactured by Hyundai
India, overall features the same changes as the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10, but
stands out with a new black bumper with faux skid plate and red highlights at
the front, black fender flares, black rocker panel with red highlights and a
sporty rear bumper fake chrome dual exhaust outlets and fake silver skid plate.
The two-tone alloy wheels look exclusive to the adventure variant as before.
The Hyundai Grand i10X measures 3,765 mm in length,
1,660 mm in width and 1,655 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,425 mm. It
offers a ground clearance of 167 mm, which is 15 mm more than the regular
Hyundai Grand i10 (152 mm). It is powered by the Kappa 1.25-litre petrol engine
that develops 87 PS and 12.2 kg-m of torque. 5-speed manual and
4-speed automatic are the transmission choices.
Hyundai has not released the pricing of the 2017
Hyundai Grand i10X yet. The announcement will be made at the new model’s launch
at the GIIAS 2017 that opens 10 August 2017.
