Suzuki have released a new touring accessory pack
for the V-Strom 1000 models. The kit contains a top-box with a capacity of 55
litres as well as a fitting plate – providing plenty of room for up to two
lids. It comes with engine protection, a chain guard and also a tank pad.
It costs £ 659 and saves a total of £ 190 when the
items are purchased separately and can be fitted to both the standard V-Strom
1000 or the V-Strom 1000 XT. You can add this snazzy piece of kit to the PCP
finance offer, should you choose to, otherwise buying the package at a later
stage is also an option.
The V-Strom 1000 got a range clean-up this year with
a host of small changes, all of which adds up to a better offering. Gone are
rambling something-or-other editions, and in come two models, the stock V-Strom
1000, and an XT version. Standard is for road riders, the XT for is for the
more adventurous just like the 650 range.
With the Tourer kit added and a deposit of £ 2,397,
the V-Strom can be ridden away for £ 115 a month with an optional repayment of £ 4,696. This is taking advantage of a 4.9% APR offer that will be running until
the end of August.
