Chevrolet announced the pricing and range details
for the 2018 Traverse which now packs more tech and a redesigned bodywork. The
company also claims that the new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse offers best-in-class
maximum cargo space, beating models like the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot and
Toyota Highlander.
Customers will be offered more trim choices than
before, including L, LS, LT and Premier, along with the sporty RS and
range-topping High Country trim levels. Chevrolet will also offer a Redline
package for the Premier edition, featuring a murdered-out appearance with red
details.
Entry-level models are powered by a turbocharged
2.0-liter Ecotec four-cylinder with 255 hp and 400 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
A 3.6-liter V6 is also on offer, with 305 hp at 6,800 rpm and 350
Nm of torque. Both of them are paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
All-wheel drive is available, with front-wheel drive offered as standard.
Chevrolet also offers the 2018 Traverse with features
like a rear camera mirror, surround vision cameras, wireless charging for
mobile devices, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in OnStar WiFi hotspot
and more.
Prices kick off at US$ 30,875 for the 2018 Chevrolet
Traverse, with the company also launching the model’s configurator at
Chevy.com/Traverse.
