Beast Motors from Digras, Maharashtra has modified
the Bajaj Pulsar 150 to produce an increased output. The bike also gains
several visual as well functional upgrades. The modified Bajaj Pulsar, called
as B3.1, has got the necessary clearances from local RTO. The powerplant now
displaces 168 cc. It is capable of producing 18 bhp of maximum power and 16.5
Nm of peak torque. It gets iridium spark plugs, free flow air filters, and a
custom built exhaust. The weight has been brought down to 136 kg (from 144 kg).
The Bajaj Pulsar B3.1 is capable of accelerating
from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. It even boasts of a 132 km/h top
speed. The bike gets two LED lights and a circular headlamp. The seats have
gained additional cushioning. A custom metal cage has below the seat further
strengthens the frame.
It gains a new custom windshield. The bike also
gains wider profile tyres. Brakes include a disc brake in the front and a drum
setup in the rear. The tank extension gets new red paint scheme. The front
suspension has been boosted for improved performance. The carburettor has been
retuned and upgraded for performance.
In stock form, the Bajaj Pulsar 150, at present, is
available in Nuclear Blue, Laser Black, and Dyno Red body colours. The
modification has a cost of INR 99,000 over and above the donor bike.
