Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd has
launched the Honda Cliq in Maharashtra. The automatic scooter was first
introduced on June 20, 2017, in Rajasthan. Maharashtra is the country’s largest
scooter market, and Honda aims to retail the Cliq beyond the urban market in
the state.
Powering the Honda Cliq is the same 109.19 cc mill
which does duty in the Honda Navi and Honda Activa. The engine makes 8 bhp of
maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 8.94 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The Cliq
has a top speed of 83 km/h. It has a kerb weight of 102 kg and a ground
clearance of 154 mm. It has a seat height of 743 mm.
The Honda Cliq is easily customisable. Standard features include
first in segment block pattern tubeless tyres, combined braking system (CBS)
and maintenance free battery. Optional accessories include front screen, floor
cover, center box, cap cover and a rear grip.
The scooter is offered in Patriotic Red with White,
Black, Moroccan Blue with White, and Orcus Grey colours. It comes in Standard
and Graphic variants. HMSI has priced the Honda Cliq at INR 43,076 for the
standard variant and INR 43,569 for the graphics trim (both prices ex-showroom,
Pune).
