The Lamborghini Huracán has been getting a lot of
tuning love lately and that gravy train has shown no signs of slowing down
anytime soon. Just last week, Novitec Torado presented a program for the Huracán
Spyder, offering as much as 860 horsepower and 708 pound-feet of torque out of
the Lambo’s 5.2-liter V-10 engine. This time, it’s Vos Performance that’s
taking up the spotlight and it’s offering a program that offers exterior,
interior, performance, and chassis and suspension upgrades for the Huracán. The
tuner has yet to reveal the final output from that engine upgrade, but if you
take its history into account, a shot at 900 horsepower isn’t out of the cards.
That’s probably the only downer about this kit. Vos
Performance issued a press release about it and there was no mention of any
final output from the power increase. It did provide details on the two exhaust
upgrades it’s offering, right down to the extra output and weight loss figure
each of the kits has on offer. But those figures don’t paint the full picture
of Vos Performance’s work on the Huracán so it would be nice if the tuner came
out and said what kind of number it was able to extract from that V-10 engine.
Fortunately, the tuner did its homework - and then
some - on the exterior and interior of the Huracán. Suffice to say, this
program isn’t lacking in carbon fiber. Not the least bit. Even the covers of
the A/C vents got in on the fun, adding an extra layer of luxury and refinement
to the interior’s look.
Overall, it’s a solid program that will definitely
be made a lot more exciting once the tuner gives us the lowdown on that engine
upgrade.
