This is the new Luxgen U5, a compact crossover SUV that will be
launched on the Chinese car market in October. It looks very nice with a
two-tone color scheme, sharply cut headlights, a big grille, black wheel
arches, and oh so trendy roof rails.
The new Luxgen U5 will be powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder
petrol engine with 124 Hp and 153 Nm, mated to a CVT, sending horses to the front
wheels. Dimension size is 4395/1763/1594 mm, and wheelbase is 2620 mm.
Inside, sporty seats, fake
carbon fiber panels, and a big 12 inch touch screen. The Luxgen U5 will be positioned below the Luxgen U6. Price will range from around 80.000 to 120.000
yuan.
Luxgen is a brand from the Taiwanese Yulong Group.
Luxgen cars are made in Taiwan by Yulong, and in China by the Dongfeng-Yulong joint venture.
