Aston Martin's
Vantage has been with us for no less than 12 years, having being introduced in
2005, and now the British brand is readying its all-new successor that should
debut either this autumn or in early 2018.
Scooped on a number of occasions over the past few
months, and with its design reportedly leaked in a set of patent images, the
new entry-level Aston has been rendered by Aksyonov Nikita.
The CGI images show a front end inspired by the
larger DB11, with almost identical hood creases. However, it does set itself
apart thanks to the slender headlights with incorporated LED DRLs, and a large
grille.
Aston Martin's new Vantage is believed to use the
same Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that recently debuted in the
DB11 as a more affordable alternative to the 5.2-liter V12. In the DB11, it
puts out 510 PS and 695 Nm of torque, which allow for a 0-100
km/h sprint in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 301 km/h.
