The Suzuki GSX250R has started arriving at UK
dealerships. The quarter-litre sports motorcycle has been priced at GBP 4,299.
The bike is available for a GBP 1,500 deposit with an EMI of GBP 90.22 over 36
months.
At the heart of the Suzuki GSX250R is a 248 cc
parallel twin mill which also powers the Suzuki Inazuma. The gearbox is a
6-speed unit. The engine is capable of producing 25 PS of power at 8,000 rpm
and 23.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The powerplant promises the best performance
between the low- and mid-range.
The intake valves are designed to optimise airflow
into the combustion chamber which improves performance and reduces emissions.
The new two in one exhaust further helps boost performance in the mid range.
The bike tips the scales at 181 kg (wet) and has a 15-litre fuel tank. The
motorcycle has a ground clearance of 160 mm and a seat height of 790 mm. The
wheelbase is 1,430 mm.
The Suzuki GSX250R measures 2,085 mm in length, 740
mm in width and 1,110 mm in height. The bike gets disc brakes at both ends.
Tyre specification is an 110/80-17 up front and 140/55-17 unit in the rear.
Suzuki promises the bike to be fun while daily commuting as well as in
highways. The suspension system comes from supplier KYB.
The Suzuki GSX250R sports a LED position lamp LED
taillamp. The headlamp is a halogen unit. Bosch sourced ABS system completes
the safety kit.
