Lexus showcased the 2018 Lexus LS at the GIIAS 2017
that opened last week in Jakarta. Here are images from the Indonesian motor

On display is the Lexus LS 500h variant. Lexus
displayed the LHD version as the RHD will arrive not before 2018. Indonesia
will receive the all-new LS exclusively in the LWB version. More specifically,
Lexus will retail it in the LS 500L petrol and the LS 500hL hybrid models.
The fifth generation Lexus LS rides on the GA-L
rear-wheel drive platform which debuted in the Lexus LC. The petrol model is
powered by the 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine good for 415 hp and 600 Nm

The 2018 Lexus LS hybrid’s Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid
system uses three power sources: 3.5-litre V6 Dual VVT-i petrol engine and two
electric motors. The petrol engine alone produces 295 hp and 354 hp of torque.
With the electric motors chipping in, the hybrid system develops a maximum
output of 354 hp. The 2018 LS has a V6 petrol model option ‘LS 350’ which was
unveiled at Auto China 2017.
Noteworthy features of the 2018 Lexus LS include
20-inch alloy wheels, air suspension with an access function which lowers the
car for easier ingress, 24-inch colour heads-up display (HUD), 12.3-inch
infotainment screen, power front and rear seat with Shiatsu massage and a
raised ottoman, 3D surround Mark Levinson audio system and Intuitive Pedestrian
Detection with Active Steering. Lexus will reveal more details as the
