At PRAWAAS 2017 India International Bus
& Car Travel Show, Force Motors showcased the Force Traveller Business
Tourer. Its transformation from a minibus to an executive people has been
carried out by Pinnacle Modify, a coach builder.
The Force Traveller 3050 Super Flat roof variant has
been used as the basis for the modification. The changes made include fixed
glass passenger windows, carved footstep on the co-driver side for ease of
access, manual glass sunroof with hinged ventilation, and a touchscreen
audio/video system. The cabin features moulded interior panels with integrated
lights, aircon vents and speakers. The two rows behind the driver’s seat get
captain chairs with recline function, with leather seat covers. Features like
air conditioning and ABS with EBD are standard.
The Business Tourer is
powered by a 2,596 cc FM2.6 CR BS 4 compliant engine. It produces 91 hp @
2800 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1400-2400 rpm. it transfers power to the wheels via a
5-speed manual gearbox.
The Force Traveller Business Tourer is aimed at
back-seat business travellers looking for a mile muncher. It targets the likes
of the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Renault Lodgy, and scores over the
conventional MPV in sheer space. The vehicle offers seating for 6+Driver.
In its stock form, the Force Traveller 3050 flat
roof/super flat roof retails for INR 9.44-10.31 lakhs (Ex-showroom) according
to Force Motors’ official website. The cost of the modification is approximately
INR 6.00 lakhs taking the total cost to around INR 17 lakhs. In comparison,
prices of the Toyota Innova Crysta diesel start at INR 13.52 lakhs while the
fully loaded diesel automatic ZX trim will set you back by INR 20.07 lakhs
ex-showroom Delhi.
