The Geely Vision X3 has been launched on the
Chinese car market. The Vision X3 is a small crossover aimed at young car
buyers. It is however based on a rather old platform, and powered by an
equally old 1.5 with just 102 hp and 141 Nm.
The engine is mated to a five-speed manual or a
four-speed automatic. But all that low-tech keeps the price down: US$ 7,600 to US$ 9,800.
And for that money you do get a good looking car.
The exterior is very nice with typical crossover details like the black arches
and roof rails. There are sporty alloys, red brakes, and red lines around the
fake air vents at the back.
The interior is good too; materials are of a high
quality, it has a racy steering wheel with a flat bottom, and an 8-inch touch
screen for the infotainment.
