The 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Rod has been
launched in the country at this year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto
Show (GIIAS). The bike is priced at IDR 395 million.
The Harley Street Rod employs a 749 cc V-Twin High Output

torque at 4,000 rpm. A six-speed transmission is mated to the engine and the
power is transferred via a belt drive.
The bike features 43 mm inverted forks at the front
and twin gas-charged piggy-back shock absorbers at the rear. For anchorage, the
bike employs dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Dual-channel ABS is standard. The bike rides on 7-split open spoke cast
aluminium alloy wheels. A 120-section front and a 160-section rear tyres wrap
the alloys.
Other notable features include drag-style handlebars
with bar-end mirrors, black engine with highlighted fins and mid-foot controls.
The tail light and indicators are LED units. The claimed fuel efficiency stands
at 23.2 kmpl and the fuel tank can hold 13.1 litres of juice. The bike tips the
scales at 238 kg with all the fluids topped up and in running condition.
