Honda launched the Honda Amaze Privilege Edition in
India last month. The Honda Amaze Privilege Edition is differentiated
with styling and equipment. The exterior of the Amaze Privilege Edition gets
subtle cosmetic enhancements with the ordinary body graphics and the ‘Privilege
Edition’ emblem on the tailgate without which it may go unrecognised. Where the
special edition model really brings value, is on the inside.
Privilege Edition themed beige seat covers make the
cabin look unique, and a centre arm rest for the driver increases driving
comfort. A major benefit of the Privilege Edition is that it is equipped with
Honda’s latest, 7-inch DIGIPAD touchscreen infotainment system. This unit has
1.5 GB internal memory and features satellite navigation with 3D maps,
MirrorLink and voice control. Rear parking sensors make reversing safer for the
driver.
Based on the Honda Amaze S(O) MT, the Honda Amaze
Privilege Edition is available in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol model
is powered by the 1.2-litre i-VTEC unit good for 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque.
The diesel model has the 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit delivering 100 PS and 200 Nm of
torque. A 5-speed manual transmission routes the power to the wheels.
The Amaze Privilege Edition is priced at INR
6,48,888* for the petrol and INR 7,73,631* for the diesel model. It is INR
10,000 more than the standard model.
