Novitec has come out with an array of upgrades for the mid-engined grand tourer, including a bump in output to 646 horsepower – 76 more than stock, and just shy of the 650S, though still some ways adrift of the new 720S.

As a result, Novitec says its take on Woking's GT will rocket to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds flat and keep pulling until it tops 208 miles per hour. Not too shabby for the “softer” baby Mac, but that's not even the end of it.

Alongside the boost to the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, Novitec has also fitted an array of carbon-fiber aero components, an upgraded exhaust (available in either stainless steel or lightweight Inconcel), new catalysts, bigger wheels (measuring 20 inches in diameter up front and 21 in the rear), 30-series low-profile tires, a suspension dropped by 30 millimeters (over an inch), and offers an array of interior upgrades as well.
