New images of the Chery SUV for the FrankfurtMotorShow. Chery Auto of China will bring a close-to-production
concept of a new compact SUV to the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany. The SUV is
code named M31T. They say it will be available "worldwide" but they
haven't said when or how.
But they have stated it will go on sale in China in
2018, powered by 1.5 turbo and 1.6 turbo petrol engines, both mated to a
seven-speed DCT. The concept that will debut in Frankfurt however will likely
be a hybrid.
The drawings show a muscular car with pronounces
wheel arches and creases. Design of the grille is in line with other recent new
Chery's, fitted with LED lights. The interior looks great with a two-color
theme, a sporty steering wheel with a flat bottom, a 12 inch screen for the
infotainment, and a fully digital 7 inch instrument panel.
