The Velar receives an
aesthetics makeover courtesy of Urban Automotive, which has given the recently launched
Range Rover model visual tweaks to its exterior.
Changes include replacement carbon-fibre front and
rear bumpers, and for the latter there is a front splitter in exposed carbon-fibre
with a clear coat finish. Front air intakes also feature while its side intakes
feature daytime running lights, while a rear diffuser and a set of billet
aluminium exhaust tip finishers in satin black capping a valved exhaust system
are part of the Urban Automotive makeover kit.
The Velar’s roof here gets a two-tone satin black
and gloss black finish, while closer to the road surface a matching set of
staggered, 23-inch forged alloy wheels are housed underneath extended wheel
arches. Urban Automotive will commence roll-out of the customised Velar in
November, with deliveries set for the following month.
Urban Automotive will apply its visual
changes to petrol-engined Velars, of which the company has reportedly purchased
14 units for this exercise. No prices have been listed, though the petrol-only
selection for an Urban Automotive-tweaked Velar leaves the choice of the 2.0
litre Ingenium four-cylinder petrol with 250 PS, or the 3.0 litre supercharged
V6 petrol producing 380 PS.
