The Royal Enfield Himalayan BS4 has been spotted at a dealership in Kerala, indicating the imminent launch of the product. The biggest change is the inclusion of a fuel injection system. Mr Anas Nizam took the pictures which show the fuel injector, its related components and the sensors.

Apart from the injector, the bike features minor visual changes like blackened handlebar clamp and fuel lid. The front beak sports a temporary cover to protect it from damages during transit.

The bike is essentially the same as the carburetted version. The Royal Enfield Himalayan BS4 uses a 411 cc SOHC fuel injected mill which produces 24.5 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. The powerplant is paired with a 5-speed transmission.

41 mm telescopic forks hold the front wheels while the rear wheel uses a monoshock with linkage. The front suspension offers 200 mm of travel while the rear offers 180 mm. The bike employs a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm disc at the rear.

The expected price of the updated bike stands at INR 2 lakhs, on-road, Delhi. Royal Enfield is also testing its upcoming flagship, the Continental GT750. Expect the bike to hit the roads by the end of this year.
