Syakar Trading Company, Honda’s authorised distributor in Nepal, is showcasing the 2017 Honda CBR 600RR at the 2017 NADA Auto Show in Nepal.

The Honda CBR 600RR, in its 2017 guise, features new suspension components, lighter frame and an electronic steering damper for optimal handling at the track. The middleweight track tamer draws power from a 599 cc 16-valve, in-line four-cylinder DOHC engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The UK-spec version, the powerplant punches out 119.6 PS at 13,500 rpm and 66 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The 2017 Honda CBR 600RR’s frame is a diamond type die-cast aluminium unit. Coming to the suspension bits, the bike uses 41 mm fully adjustable upside down Showa Big Piston front fork with 120 mm travel. The rear employs a Unit Pro-Link with gas-charged remote reservoir damper. It includes adjustable spring preload, compression, and rebound damping with 130 mm of axle travel.

For anchorage, the motorcycle employs dual 310 mm front discs with 4-piston radial callipers; and a single 220 mm rear disc with a single piston calliper. Both brakes get sintered metal pads and Combined ABS (C-ABS). The bike features an 18-litre fuel tank. Honda is showcasing the Honda CBR 650 F also at the Nepali show, priced at NPR 1,999,000.
