A month after we got our first taste of the 2017
Lexus LX570 Superior, a number of images have emerged showing the off-roader in
the Middle East. This high-end version of the LX will be sold exclusively in
Russia and the Middle East and provides the SUV with a unique and somewhat
‘sporty’ look.
The most obvious inclusion to the Superior model is
a bold bodykit that wouldn’t be out of place on a TRD-badged model. For
example, tront bumper now consists of a set of two fake air intakes and a
spindle front grille which been blacked out. At the sides, there are a set of
bespoke skirts and bigger wheels. Like the front fascia, the rear has also
gained some weight and now incorporates a unique bumper.
These images also offer us our first glimpse of the
LX570 Superior’s interior which includes red and black leather and a set of
aluminum pedals. Engine options remain unconfirmed but are likely to include a
5.7-liter V8 with 372 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque.
