Sales of the facelifted 2018 Maserati GranTurismo
and GranCabrio have just commenced in the UK. Quietly revealed a few months
ago, the updated models receive styling inspiration from the Alfieri concept,
most notably through the adoption of a sharper and more menacing front grille.
In the UK, buyers of the new GranTurismo will have
to part with at least £ 94,285 (US$ 126,000) while prices for the GranCabrio start
at £ 108,340 (US$ 144,900). Those looking to jump behind the wheel of the
range-topping GranTurismo MC will need to cough up £ 108,780 (US$ 145,477).
Beyond the inclusion of a new grille, the facelifted
GranTurismo and GranCabrio models also have tweaked headlights, larger air
intakes and a new rear bumper. Inside, Maserati has fitted a revised
switchgear, a forged aluminium double rotary knob and a Harman Kardon audio
system alongside an 8.4-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay
and Android Auto.
Powering the facelifted range is a
naturally-aspirated 4.7-liter V8 with 460 PS and 520 Nm of
torque.
