Nissan has revealed the new 2018 Armada Platinum
Reserve at the State Fair of Texas, the new range-topping version of the
company’s full-size SUV.
Based on the Armada’s Platinum grade, the new Platinum
Reserve brings more style with a Dark Chrome exterior detailing that includes
the front grille, door handles and mirrors, as well as a matching set of
20-inch alloys.
The interior has also received a custom treatment
with two-tone leather seats featuring unique stitching, Black Quartz and
premium wood tone interior trim and an embossed “Platinum Reserve” emblem on
the console lid.
The single powertrain option remains unchanged, with
a 390 hp 5.6-liter V8 paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission providing
its services to the 2018 Armada lineup. The wide range of active safety and
assistance systems includes Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent
Back-up Intervention and Intelligent Around View Monitor while the 2018 Armada
is also the first Nissan to come equipped with the camera-operated Intelligent
Rear View Mirror.
The 2018 Nissan Armada Platinum Reserve will reach
dealerships nationwide in late October, with prices kicking off at US$ 61,690 for
the 2WD version and US$ 64,590 for the 4WD version.
