KTM International Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorised
distributor of Benelli in Nepal, has showcased the Benelli 302R and the Benelli
TNT 600i at the 2017 NADA Auto show in the country.
The 302R is the only fully faired motorcycle
available in the country. It commands a price tag of NPR 7,20,000. The bike is
powered by a 300cc in-line twin cylinder water-cooled DOHC engine. It gives out
38 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 27.4 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. The bike
comes with a 6-speed transmission. For suspension, the motorcycle employs 41 mm
inverted forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
When it comes to anchorage, the bike uses twin 260
mm discs at the front and a single 240 mm disc at the rear. The display bike
misses out on ABS. The fuel tank can hold 14 litres of juice and the bike tips
the scales at 190 kg.
The TNT 600i employs a 600cc in-line four cylinder
DOHC engine with liquid cooling. The engine makes 81.5 PS of power at 11,000
rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox.
A 50 mm upside down fork at the front and monoshock at the rear handle the
suspension responsibilities. The bike features dual front discs and a single
rear disc, both linked with ABS. A 120-section front and a 180-section rear
Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact wrap the 17-inch alloy wheels. The TNT 600i bears
a price-tag of NPR 16,50,000.
