For whatever reason, Shooting Brakes have an innate
ability to look awesome and this rendering shows that the design of the
sixth-gen Chevy Camaro works quite well in extended roof form. Created by Rain
Prisk, this isn’t just a Camaro Shooting Brake but is also a spiritual
successor to the iconic Chevrolet Nomad station wagon.
Like most Shooting Brake vehicles, the front half of
the Camaro looks identical to the coupe. However, the shape of the side windows
has been transformed and they now taper backwards and are angled in the
direction of the rear wheel arches.
This means angular side windows have been installed
alongside the lengthened roofline. .Elsewhere, the majority of the C-pillars
are color matched with the exception of the very top section, giving the
impression that the pillars don’t actually serve any structural function. A
rear diffuser and dual exhaust tips seemingly taken straight from a Jaguar
F-Type V6 complete the visual transformation.
