As cities around the world continue to grow,
clampdowns are announced for ICE vehicles and electric vehicles become
commonplace, it is possible that tiny, all-electric cars could become the
solution for many city dwellers.
Here we have a small city car concept dubbed the
Citroen C-Électrique. Designed by Stefano Airoldi, the C-Électrique takes
design inspiration from some of the French marque’s most famous vehicles,
including the 2CV, and combines them into a package not much larger than a
Smart ForTwo.
The vehicle’s electric powertrain allows for tiny
front and rear overhangs and means there’s a small storage area where you’d
expect the engine to be. Additionally, the concept features a surprisingly
roomy interior which allows for a three-seat arrangement with a side-facing
seat located directly over the rear axle.
The exterior design is both edgy
and minimalist with unique LED headlights and taillights, large wheels, thin
wing mirrors and a sporty roofline.
