The BMW X6
is far from the most desirable car on sale. Fortunately, aftermarket tuner
Manhart has managed to make the X6 a serious performance car prospect with
numerous visual and mechanical modifications.
Dubbed the MHX6 800, Manhart has managed to squeeze
out 823 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque for the SUV courtesy of an
upgraded 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. You can forget about the new BMW M5
then with its ‘lackluster’ 600 hp, the range-topping X6 from Manhart actually
offers serious supercar-beating performance.
The SUV adopts
a bold new bodykit that includes overhauled bumpers, a vented hood, rear
diffuser and trunklid spoiler. Also included in the package are a number of
racing stripes that remind us of those from the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe
Edition 1 except rather than yellow, they are gold.
Some tweaks have also been made to the X6’s interior
including Manhart badging, plaques denoting the model’s name and numerous
carbon accents.
