Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has revised the price of the Mercedes-Benz A 250 Sport – the variant now goes for RM 248,888 on-the-road without insurance, and the new price means that there has been an increase of RM 10k for the particular W176 A-Class facelift model since its introduction here in March last year. The new pricing came into effect on Monday.

Technical specs and output figures remain unchanged – the A 250 Sport has 211 hp at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,200 to 4,000 rpm. The mill, mated to a 7G-DCT transmission, is good enough to get the car from zero to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and take it to a 240 km/h top speed.


The A 250 Sport features an AMG Line exterior kit, 18-inch five-spoke AMG alloy wheels, LED high performance headlamps and an AMG-tuned suspension, which lowers the ride by 15 mm. among other things.

Meanwhile, the C205 C-Class Coupe now comes equipped with a 9G-Tronic transmission, the updated ‘box available for all three versions of the car that are on sale in the country, namely the the C 200 Coupe AMG Line, C 250 Coupe AMG Line and C 300 Coupe AMG Line.

Pricing has also been revised as a result of the transmission upgrade – going the 9G-Tronic route adds on RM 2,000 across the board from that seen previously. The C 200 Coupe AMG Line is now priced at RM 310,888, the C 250 Coupe AMG Line at RM 335,888 and the range-topping C 300 Coupe AMG Line at RM 390,888.
