The vintage-looking Royal Enfield Electra 350 has
gotten a retro-modern makeover by Team DJ Customs from Maharashtra.
The Kolhapur-based custom house has blessed this
bike with a host of modern components to make it even more versatile. The mod
in this Electra includes an extended swingarm and a peanut tank, which is
reminiscent of a Bobber. The fuel tank has a built-in custom speedometer and
side pads. The front and rear features chopped fenders cover the all-terrain
Ralco tyres, and the seat is a scissor type spring unit with leather finish.
The side boxes and the fuel tank feature metallic red paint job with custom
graphics; while the frame, suspension and fenders are black. The bike gets a
custom round headlamp as well.
The stock 346 cc single cylinder engine makes 19.8
bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine mates
with a 5-speed transmission. The engine is black, while the engine covers get
chrome finish. The short exhaust is custom made.
This custom Royal Enfield Electra 350 employs a WP
upside-down fork at the front and a pair of vertical gas-charged MIG shock
absorbers at the rear. The front end gets a disc brake with a radial calliper,
and the rear features a disc brake as well. Since the chassis is unchanged, the
custom house says bike can be reverted to stock condition quickly.
