UM Lohia two-wheelers recently launched the UM
Renegade Commando Mojave in India at a price tag of INR 1.80 lakhs,
ex-showroom, Delhi. Here are the images of the motorcycle from Big Boys Toys
Expo in Mumbai.
The Renegade Commando Mojave draws inspiration from
North America’s largest desert, the Mojave. To match the theme, the cruiser
features a desert matte paint, Mojave Desert logos on the side boxes and fuel
tank zippered cell phone pouch. The bike also comes with premium high-density
brown seat covers and backrest with cushion. The bike comes with a standard USB
charging port with cover, on the side of the speedometer.
Powering the motorcycle is a 279.5 cc single
cylinder 4-valve engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The mill gives
out a peak power of 25.15 PS at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 23 Nm at
7,000 rpm. Transferring the power is a six-speed gearbox.
41 mm telescopic front forks and twin rear hydraulic
shock absorbers handle the suspension responsibilities. Coming to the brakes,
the bike employs a 280 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum. The fuel tank can
hold 18 litres and the motorcycle tips the scale at 179 kg, kerb. The Mojave
uses a 16-inch front, and a 15-inch rear spoke wheel, both in black. A
90-section rubber wraps the front, and the rear uses a 140-section tyre.
