If you seek a practical family car and have a thing
for Golfs, then VW has you covered as they just opened the order books for the
new 2018 Golf Sportsvan.
The updated version of the VW Golf Sportsvan debuted
last September and now hits the market with more standard kit, including a full
range of assistance systems and the latest generation of infotainment systems.
VW has refreshed the exterior look of the Golf
Sportsvan to keep it in line with the current Golf. Changes include the new
bumpers, headlights and taillights, alloy wheel designs and an exclusive
Cranberry Red paint option. The interior gets new decors, fabrics and leather
options as well.
The new driver assistance systems include Front
Assist with City Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring, Traffic Jam
Assist, Emergency Assist and the updated version of the Park Assist system
among other. The optional Discovery Pro infotainment system comes with a
9.2-inch display and gesture control which also features an all-glass surface
with just five capacitive buttons.
The new VW Golf Sportsvan can be fitted with four
petrol TSI engines, which includes the 1.0-liter TSI in 85 PS and 110 PS versions
and the 1.5-liter TSI with Active Cylinder Management in 130 PS and 150 PS
versions. VW will also offer two TDI options.
Customers in Germany will pay 20,475 euros for the
entry-level 85PS version of the Golf Sportsvan, the same with the outgoing
model despite the new additions on the standard equipment list which include
LED tail lights, the Composition Color radio and the Driver Alert System.
