The 2018 Jeep Wrangler continues to come into focus
as the JL Wrangler Forums have posted an ordering guide for the
highly-anticipated model.
The ordering guide covers the Wrangler Unlimited and
it shows the entry-level Sport variant will come equipped with a 3.6-liter V6
engine which can be paired to either a manual or automatic transmission. The
model will only be available in five different colors at launch and customers
will have an option of choosing between a black or black and tan interior.
A variety of different options will be available
including 17-inch alloy wheels, a black three-piece hard top, and side steps.
Customers can also order an Alpine premium audio system, a limited-slip rear
differential, and a "Trail Rated" kit. There will also be a handful
of different packages including technology, convenience, and cold weather
groups.
The Wrangler Unlimited Sahara is more upscale as it
offers leather seats, an upgraded infotainment system, and an LED lighting
package. Buyers can also order a remote starting system, a body-color hard top,
and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Lastly, the off-road focused Wrangler Unlimited
Rubicon offers many of the same options as the Sahara. However, unique features
include a steel bumper package, optional body-color fender flares, and 17-inch
alloy wheels with a black finish.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and
3.0-liter V6 diesel will be added to the lineup later on and they are slated to
be joined by several new options and the two-door bodystyle.
