A low-cost version of Mahindra Mojo has been spied in Kolhapur-Belgaum highway sporting touring-friendly accessories.

The less expensive variant of Mahindra Mojo does away with the twin exhausts of the standard motorcycle. It also features traditional telescopic fork instead of upside down units. Just like the test bike that was spotted recently, this bike is also likely to employ carburettor instead of fuel injection to save costs. This particular motorcycle comes with saddle stays on the sides, and a luggage rack on the tail as well. The test mule also features headlight mesh guards, and fork guards to protect them from debris. Tyres are likely to be MRF units instead of Pirelli Diablo Rosso II.

The standard Mahindra Mojo draws power from a 295cc single cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The mill pairs with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 27 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Expect the low-cost variant to make marginally less power owing to the carburettor.

The suspension bits include upside down front fork and gas-charged monoshock at the rear. For braking, the bike employs 320 mm petal disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. The alloy wheels are shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres with 110-section front and 150-section rear. The standard variant costs INR 1,72,020, ex-showroom Delhi. In October 2016, Mahindra launched the Tourer Edition of the standard Mojo. Expect the affordable version of the bike to enter the market in 2018.
