Available in two distinct trim levels, the GranLusso
and GranSport, the Maserati Levante S has joined its diesel sibling in the
United Kingdom.
It carries a £ 70,755 (Us$ 93,504) starting price, which
makes it £ 14,505 (US$ 19,169) more expensive than the base diesel, and it's all
because of its 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine and 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
Owners can choose between four driving modes:
Normal, I.C.E, Sport, and Off-Road, which alter the engine, transmission,
suspension, and electronic settings as required. In its most agile form, the
430 hp Levante S needs 5.2 sec for the 0 to 96 km/h sprint, before topping
out at 264 km/h.
The Maserati Levante S GranLusso is recognizable
thanks to the 'GranLusso' badges on the front wings, metallic-finish front skid
plates, body-colored side skirts, black-painted brake calipers, and 19-inch
Zefire alloy wheels, while inside it gets Ermenegildo Zegna silk or Italian
leather.
Its plusher version, the GranSport, benefits from
black piano grille, skid plates, and roof rails, blue inserts on the Trident
and Saetta logos, red brake calipers, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather sport
seats, sport steering wheel with electric adjustment, and brushed stainless
steel pedals.
Additionally, buyers can also spec the Maserati
Levante S with the optional ADAS package. This includes Highway Assist, Lane
Keeping Assist, Active Blind Sport Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and the
new Electronic Power Steering system that was introduced with the 2018MY
version.
