A special edition Subaru Forester tS will be available Down Under this June. Based on the XT Premium variant, the model is a joint development between the Subaru factory and performance arm, Subaru Tecnica International (STI) and consists of approximately 30 additional items, worth AUD 12,000.

Outside, the limited edition model is distinguished by a black front grille with STI badge, a cherry red stripe along the front grille and rear bumper, an STI front spoiler, cherry black silica door mirror covers and roof spoiler, STI and tS rear badges along with STI Enkei 19-inch alloy wheels.

Elsewhere, it comes included with STI flexible draw stiffeners in the front and rear, STI flexible tower bar for the front, STI rear subframe support and rear subframe bushings, STI front stabiliser bushings, STI-tuned coil springs in cherry red (15 mm lower), STI-tuned dampers and Brembo four-pot front and two-pot rear brakes.

Inside, the Forester tS gets a black roof liner and trimmings, centre console lid with red stitching, door trims with suede, red stitch and black grip, heater control panel with red-coloured rings, while the CVT gear knob comes with an STI logo on it.

The added items continue with the combination instrument gauge and leather trim steering wheel also featuring the STI logo, while the multi-function display visor comes with a cover and black stitching. The seats are wrapped in leather and suede with red accents and red stitching, while the front seats are embossed with black STI embroidery.

There are no changes under the hood, so it still sticks with a 241 PS/350 Nm 2.0 litre direct-injection, turbocharged engine. The Forester tS is available in Australia in three colours; crystal white pearl, crystal black silica and WR blue. The limited edition model is priced (all items included) at AUD 54,990.
