At the ongoing 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru is
showcasing two concepts based on the Subaru Impreza and the Subaru XV. The
Subaru Impreza Future Sport and Subaru XV Fun Adventure concept vehicles boast
a whole host of visual upgrades.
The fascia of the Impreza gets changes in the form
of a new bumper with a more pronounced chin and silver accents. The fog lamps
have been replaced by a flower-like setup with six individual LED lights
forming the petals. The concept also features a bright yellow paint finish with
black roof, black ORVMs and black alloy wheel.
At the back, it gets black inserts in the bumper
with a honeycomb pattern grille, mid-mounted dual tip exhaust, and silver
accents. Inside, the cabin features yellow highlights on the gear knob, aircon
controls, steering wheel, and floor mats along with yellow seatbelts. The
upholstery, door pads, aircon vents and the dashboard get white highlights.
The Subaru XV Adventure concept brings about a more
exterior rugged treatment. The crossover gets beefier wheel arches with exposed
rivets, off-road tires, and a cargo basket. There’s silver finish underbody
protection at the front. The fog lamps have been removed cladding with an ‘X’
motif. Inside the Subaru XV Fun Adventure Concept, there is copper colour
stitching on the dashboard, seats, and door trims accompanied by matching
highlights on the gear knob and steering wheel.
