BMW showcased an accessorised BMW 6 Series GT at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. The company had introduced the 6 Series Gran Turismo in June.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo is the successor to the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo. It is a mix of a luxurious executive sedan and a sporty executive coupe. The BMW 6 Series GT is available in 630i, 640i/640i xDrive, 630d/630d xDrive and 640d xDrive engine models. Customers can choose from three equipment lines as an alternative to standard specification. At the Dubai Motor Show, BMW displayed the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport.


The BMW 6 Series GT M Sport features a sportier styling than the rest of the BMW 6 Series GT range. On the outside, it gets bigger air inlets in Black high-gloss, more aggressive front bumper, side skirts with an additional rising contour line, M designation on the front side panels, M Sport brakes with blue-painted brake callipers, rear bumper with diffuser insert in Dark Shadow metallic and chrome exhaust tailpipes. In addition, the display model also featured high-gloss black BMW M Performance kidney grille and 21-inch BMW M Performance two-tone, two-level double-spoke alloy wheels optional accessories.

Illuminated door sill finishers with M logo, M leather steering wheel, BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite, leather upholstery in Dakota Cognac, wood trim, M-specific pedals and M driver’s footrest are some of the key interior features of the BMW 6 Series GT M Sport.


The BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport displayed at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show was in the 640i engine model. This engine model employs a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine producing 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include 8-speed Steptronic automatic and 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic. Power goes to the rear wheels.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo’s production takes place at the Dingolfing plant in Germany. BMW has listed the new model on its UAE website.
