EarthRoamer has just unveiled its latest go anywhere
RV called the EarthRoamer XV-HD and it is based on a giant Ford F-750 chassis.
The RV is a hand built affair and rides on a massive 4WD Ford chassis powered
by a big 6.7L diesel engine.
The vehicle promises to bring functionality and
comfort to the next level, and it had better for the US$ 1.5 million asking price.
Inside the RV looks like a luxury home with lots of wood and sleek stainless
appliances. The RV is designed to accommodate six people. It offers a full
bathroom with separate showers, washer/dryer, full kitchen, in-floor heating,
and a Bose sound system.
It rolls around on giant 46-inch Michelin XVLs tires
and has rear air suspension with Fox shocks. The RV also features hydraulic
leveling and a giant 30,000-pound winch on the front to pull itself out of a
bind. The RV has 2,100W of solar capacity with panels on the roof and a giant
20,000W lithium-in battery bank. It holds 250 gallons of fresh water and 115
gallons of diesel fuel.
