Isuzu D-Max pick-up truck minor update has now surfaced in Thailand. Offered in three cab styles there, prices start from 497,000 Baht for the base Spark 4×2 single cab, in 1.9 litre manual transmission configuration, and up to 1,099,000 Baht for the V-Cross 3.0 Max Z-Prestige automatic.

The RZ4E-TC Ddi Blue Power 1,898 cc turbodiesel, which hasn’t made it to the Malaysian market, outputs 150 hp at 3,600 rpm and 350 Nm of torque from 1,800 to 2,600 rpm. Depending on the chosen variant, the mill is paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

The Thai-market D-Max appears to have dropped the 4JK1-TCX 2.5 litre turbodiesel from its line-up, now comprising the aforementioned 1.9 litre and the 3.0 litre 4JJ1-TCX. The latter produces 177 hp at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque from 1,800 to 2,600 rpm, and is mated to either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.

Changes for the latest iteration of the D-Max appear to be rudimentary, with the most apparent being the more pronounced L-shaped daytime running lights on all variants, manual headlamp levelling, new designs for the front chrome grille and fog lamps, along with blacked-out B-pillars.

In terms of exterior colours, the update adds Polynesian Blue, Etna Red and Zermatt Silver to its palette. Inside, the Thai-spec D-Max gets an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with built-in navigation as well as support for Air-Mirroring of mobile devices via Wi-Fi. Isuzu Connect also offers support for iOS and Android-based mobile devices, joining connectivity options such as Bluetooth and USB ports.

Meanwhile, Cab 4 versions of the revised D-Max gets a change of interior upholstery from beige to black. Further along the line-up, the V-Cross Max gains two-tone leather upholstery in brown and grey, with orange stitching and Bronze Metallic highlights on the door cards. The range-topping Hi-Lander Z Prestige is fitted with brown leather upholstery instead.

Soft-touch material is applied to the centre console storage box lid, dashboard top, and front door armrests, while piano black accent trim also features on the Hi-Lander (the Cab 4 gets metal-look trim), and door release handles are chrome across the board.
