As
if the regular GLE-Coupe’s design wasn’t dramatic enough, Hamann decided to
stir things up with a brand new tuning package.
The
vicious looking offering is a complete bumper-to-bumper wide-body overhaul,
featuring everything you can imagine, including widened wheel arches, massive
side skirts, and a rear spoiler (slightly above the stock one). Overall,
compared to the standard version, the car gained nine centimeters (3.5 inches)
in width.
The
cherry on the cake is the bonnet made from visible carbon fiber, which,
according to Hamann, strongly highlights the vehicle’s sportiness. It won’t
drastically improve the car’s 2,250 kg stock weight, but its
muscular look goes great with the car, especially as we’re talking about an
upgraded AMG GLE 63 S that now develops 95 PS and 140 Nm more than when it left the factory.
That
adds up to a total of 680 PS and 900 Nm of torque after
Hamann loosened the electronic bonds for the car. The top speed was also
increased to 300 km/h.
In
charge of putting all that power to the road is a set of 22-inch “Challenge”
light alloy wheels from Hamann’s own collection, wrapped in Conti Sport Contact
5P 285/40 ZR22 on the front, and 325/35 ZR22 at the back.
