Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia introduced a new, limited edition of the ASX. Called the ASX Adventure, only 60 units will be offered to the public, all of them benefitting from a range of exterior and interior enhancements.

On the outside, the ASX Adventure sports a new front grille design with larger panels compared to the multi-tier arrangement on the standard model. No more chrome. Elsewhere, a rear bumper garnish has been added, which is linked to the car’s new side moulding and fender guards, reinforcing the “SUV look” further.

A set of 18-inch five twin-spoke alloy wheels, which are an inch larger than what is offered on the regular ASX, completes the overall look. The rims are similar to the Outlander’s. Moving inside, you’ll find door trim colour inserts, and there are silver accents around the air-con vents as well. New-design leather seats can also be found here, along with aluminium pedals.

As for the rest of the car’s specifications, it is pretty much identical to the ASX 2WD. Under the bonnet is a 2.0 litre four-cylinder MIVEC engine (150 PS and 197 Nm) paired to an INVECS-III CVT automatic.

The equipment list includes automatic halogen projector headlights, automatic climate control, keyless entry, a touchscreen infotainment system, three airbags (dual front and driver’s knee), six parking sensors (two front, four rear) and a reverse camera. The Mitsubishi ASX Adventure is priced at RM 124k on-the-road without insurance and is now open for booking.
