Nissan is showcasing its Kicks compact SUV at the
ongoing Dubai International Motor Show 2017. The Nissan Kicks is already on
sale in the region priced from AED 59,000. It is sold with a 1.6 L petrol
engine mated to Nissan’s XTronic CVT gearbox.
The front of the Kicks is characterised by the
company’s signature V-Motion grille, boomerang head and taillights, and the
floating roof with a “wrap-around visor” look to the windscreen and side glass.
The display car is finished in Cayenne Red, which is one of seven colours on
offer. It rides on 17-inch dual tone 10-spoke alloy wheels.
The cabin is dominated by black trim and upholstery
with black leather dashboard inserts and leather draped steering wheel and
seats. The Nissan Kicks gets a flat bottom steering wheel, a centrally mounted
touchscreen AVN, and an analogue-digital instrument console. The 7-inch screen
offers a virtual 360º bird’s-eye view of the car using four cameras. The user
can select split-screen close-ups of the front, rear, and curbside views.
The 1,598 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine powering the
Nissan Kicks produces 118 hp and 15.2 kg-m of torque. Xtronic CVT is the only
transmission option available. There are three variants on offer:
- Kicks 1.6 SV – AED 59,000
- Kicks 1.6 SV + NAVI – AED 67,000
- Kicks 1.6 SL + NAVI + AVM – AED 75,500
