The Renault e.dams team is likely to win the drivers' or teams' title, if not both. And this is the car with which it will likely do so.

e.dams has the best track record in the series so far. It won both titles this past season, and took the teams' title the year before – making it the only team to have been crowned champions so far.

With nine race wins, it has taken more checkered flags than any other – as many as its next three closest rivals combined. Its star driver Sebastien Buemi (the reigning champion) is also the most successful driver in the series, and both he and his race-winning teammate Nicolas Prost will be back in the saddle again this year driving the car you see here.

For the 2016-17 season, Renault e.dams has introduced a new matte livery – similar to the Renault F1 team's – in blue with yellow accents. Sponsor logos from computer brand HP, watchmaker Richard Mille, fashion label 8Js, and cable manufacturer LEMO Connectors (as well as Renault's own logo) are monotone to help lend the Renault ZE16 a sleek look that is sure to make it stand out from the rest of the field as it claims more race wins, and more likely than not, another championship or two.
