Japanese tuner Kuhl Racing has put together an
extensive body kit for the Toyota C-HR, upgrading the funky crossover from
bumper to bumper. The kit consists of a front spoiler, rear half spoiler, side
skirts, rear floating diffuser, rear bumper diffuser, corner sensor attachment,
fog lamp attachment and a center exhaust tip.
You can also get a more basic three-piece kit (just
the front spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser) as prices range from 190,000
yen (US$ 1,661) for the SG-type unpainted kit, to 310,000 yen (US$ 2,711) for the
HG-type painted one.
All the extra parts make the C-HR look even
sportier, which is always good considering the segment it's in. Of course,
Toyota knows this and has already put together a custom body kit for the C-HR
through their TRD division.
That kit consists of a custom front bumper, LED
daytime running lights, custom rear diffuser, extended side skirts and a lip
spoiler for the tailgate. It's also a bit more practical than the Kuhl Racing
tune, which has the car sitting really close to the road, sort of defeating a
purpose of a crossover.
