Toyota is showcasing the facelifted Hilux Revo at
the 2017 Thai Motor Expo. Alongside the 2018 Toyota Hilux Revo, the company is
also displaying the new sub-model called Toyota Hilux Revo Rocco that was unveiled
earlier this month.
The MY 2018 Toyota Hilus Revo gets changes to the
front fascia, which bring the exterior in line with other offerings like the
Toyota Tacoma. There is a new hexagonal glossy black and chromium grille that
dominates the nose. It is bigger and more upright than the before. Other
changes include a more sculpted bumper with small fog lamps and C-shape chrome
applique. There are no visible changes at the back.
Highlights of the newly introduced Revo Rocco
include a gray and glossy black grille, gray metallic rear bumper, LED fog
lamps, and 18-inch alloys shod with all-terrain tyres. The cabin gets an all
black treatment along with a white Optitron meter. Toyota is offering the Hilux
Revo Rocco with special accessories like black sport bar and bedliner, plastic
cladding over wheel arches and rear bumper, and ‘Rocco’ decals on the sides.
The engines choices remain the same. The Toyota
Hilux Revo Rocco and Revo come with a 2.4 L and 2.8 L diesel engine options.
Petrol variants get a 2.7 L mill. The engines are paired with either a
six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
