Volkswagen has launched the facelifted Golf Sportsvan in the United Kingdom, where it carries a £ 20,475 (US$ 27,425) starting price.

Offered in four grades, S, SE, SE Nav, and GT, the compact MPV can be ordered with full-LED headlamps, two new colors called Cranberry Red and Reflex Silver, four new alloy wheel designs and a Discovery Pro infotainment system with a 9.2-inch display and gesture control.

The revised Golf Sportsvan comes as standard with the Front Assist and Predictive Pedestrian Monitoring, alongside the optional Emergency Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Park Assist, 'Security & Service' package, and others, which make it safer than ever.

Customers can choose between four turbocharged petrol units for the 2018 Sportsvan, with outputs ranging from 85 PS to 150 PS, and two diesels, a 1.6-liter with 115 PS and a 2.0-liter with 150 PS. Depending on the engine, it can be had with a five- or six-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG.

The most affordable DSG model uses the 110 PS 1.0-liter engine and starts from £ 22,230 (US$ 29,775), whereas the range-topping GT that's powered by the 150 PS 2.0-liter diesel is priced from £ 28,595 (US$ 38,300).
