The Kawasaki Ninja 400 KRT Edition and Metallic Spark Black colour variant have been showcased at the 2017 Thai Motor Expo. Here are the live images of the motorcycles.

Kawasaki launched the Ninja 400 in the country on November 27. The KRT Edition features special Kawasaki Racing Team graphics on the bodywork. The display model also comes with a pillion cowl and frame sliders for added protection. The Metallic Spark Black colour variant is stock. The design of the Ninja 400 draws inspiration from the Kawasaki Ninja H2. The twin headlamp is full LED for better illumination. The tail light gets LEDs as well, but the indicators are convetional bulb-type. Kawasaki has borrowed the analogue-digital combo cluster from the Ninja 650.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 draws power from an all-new 399 cc inline twin engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The powerplant generates 45 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch.

The motorcycle sits on 41 mm front telescopic fork; and a bottom-link Uni-Trak, gas-charged shock with adjustable preload at the rear. Brakes include a 310 mm petal disc at the front and a 220 mm rear petal disc. The bike features ABS as well. Kawasaki has priced the Ninja 400 Metallic Spark Black colour variant at THB 196,000 and KRT Edition at THB 205,000.
