Earlier this month, spy shots revealed the Nissan
Terra’s exterior completely. New spy shots published by BitAuto have
exposed its interior.
The Nissan Terra’s front-end does have some design
changes to differentiate it a little from the Nissan Navara pickup it is based
on. However, its interior design looks completely the same as that of the
Navara. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, the aircon vents, the
ergonomically designed dashboard and the centre console have all been lifted
from the Navara. Higher-end grades or the range-topping grades will feature a
touchscreen infotainment system, while the other ones will settle for a 2-DIN
audio system. The former should have a dual-zone automatic climate control
system too.
The Nissan Terra measures 4,882 mm in length, 1,850
mm in width and 1,835 mm in height. It has a 2,850 mm wheelbase. The three-row
SUV employs the QR25 184 PS 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol
engine with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Nissan will offer a four-wheel drive system in select configurations.
The Nissan Terra’s world premiere will take place at
the 2018 Beijing Motor Show in April next year. The Ford Everest (Ford
Endeavour) rival’s production will take place at the Zhengzhou Nissan JV plant
in China.
