Vespiario, the authorised distributor of Vespa
products in Thailand showcased the Vespa GTS Super 300 ABS Sport Edition at the
2017 Thai Motor Expo.
The Vespa GTS Super 300 ABS Sport Edition comes with
a special yellow paintwork known as Giallo Gelosia. Notable features include a
windshield, ABS, and Anti-Slip Regulation ASR for optimum stability and
handling. The scooter costs THB 205,900; and accessories like GTS Sport Edition
handkerchief, cap, backpack, and an open face helmet are available as well.
Powering the Vespa GTS Super 300 ABS Sport Edition
is a 278.3 cc single cylinder Quasar engine with liquid cooling. The mill belts
out 21.2 PS of power at 7,750 rpm, and 22 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine
works in tandem with a CVT unit. For suspension, the scooter employs Single-arm
with coil spring and single shock absorber at the front; and double hydraulic
shock absorbers at the rear with 4-step preload adjustment.
The 220 mm front and rear disc get twin-channel ABS;
and the 12 inch alloys are shod with 120-section front and 130-section rear
tubeless tyres. The scooter’s seat height stands at 800 mm, and comes with an
8.5 litre fuel tank. It tips the scales at 160 kg.
