Bajaj Auto showcased the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar Black
Pack Edition (Pulsar 150, 180 and 220F) at the launch event of the new 2018
Discover range. Bajaj launched the Pulsar Black Pack range last
month to commemorate the brand’s achievement of crossing 1 crore global sales.
The bikes under the Black Pack Edition feature premium Black paint job and
decal finish, with matte grey and red highlights; Satin Chrome exhaust cover,
and contrasting white alloy wheels.
The mechanical
underpinnings of the motorcycles are the same as the normal variants. The Bajaj
Pulsar 150 has a 149 cc engine that is good for 14 PS and 13.4 Nm; the Pulsar
180 features a bigger 178.6 cc engine which makes 17.02 PS and 14.22 Nm. The
Pulsar 220F on the other hand comes with a 220 cc engine with oil cooling. The
mill generates 20.93 PS of power and 18.55 Nm of torque.
All the three motorcycles come with telescopic front
fork, and twin rear Nitrox shock absorbers. While the Pulsar 180 and the 220F
feature a 260 mm front disc, the Pulsar 150 gets a 240 mm unit. The Pulsar 180
and 220F come with a 230 mm rear disc, whereas the Pulsar 150 gets a 130 mm
drum. The three motorcycles feature a 15-litre fuel tank.
Bajaj has priced the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150
Black Pack Edition at INR 76,723; the Pulsar 180 at INR 81,651, and the Pulsar
220F at INR 81,651. All the prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
